FAQs
Who can enroll in a Smart Push Boot Camp?
Any high school student preparing for the SAT, ACT, or PSAT. Juniors and seniors often enroll, but 8th, 9th, and 10th graders can benefit from early prep and test familiarity.
How long are the boot camps, and how are they structured?
Each boot camp includes 8 hours of live instruction across two days (4 hours per day). Sessions mix:
Real test-style practice on screen
Interactive drills, quizzes, and discussions
Short stretch breaks to avoid screen fatigue
Will my child stay focused for four hours online?
Yes. Students are constantly solving problems, answering polls, and practicing under timed conditions. We call on students by name, encourage participation, and keep sessions highly interactive—parents are often surprised at how quickly the time passes.
Is virtual instruction as effective as in-person learning?
Absolutely. Since the SAT, ACT, and PSAT are now computer-based, practicing in the same digital format makes prep more relevant and effective than traditional in-person classes.
How does Smart Push ensure students are actually learning?
Students learn by doing, not just listening. They solve problems in real time, get instant feedback, and take pre- and post-assessments to measure progress. Our tools mirror the on-screen navigation and timing of the actual exams.
What technology does my child need?
A laptop or computer with webcam and mic
Reliable internet connection
Zoom (free to download)
Pencil and scratch paper
How soon before the exam should my child attend?
At least 3–6 weeks before test day. This allows time to practice strategies and build confidence. However, the earlier test prep starts, the better.
What if my child has questions after the boot camp?
Students receive supplemental practice materials to continue applying strategies. Families may also email us with quick questions for clarification.
How can I help my child succeed during the boot camp?
Provide a quiet, distraction-free space
Ensure internet is reliable and the device is charged
Offer water or snacks for breaks
Encourage a positive mindset
We’ll keep them motivated and engaged.
What is the refund policy?
Because seating is limited, we do not offer refunds. If you notify us 30+ days before your boot camp, you may transfer your registration to a future session at no cost.
